April, 1998 – Present            

Director of Exhibits, World Golf Hall of Fame, St. Augustine, FL

Direct all exhibit operations from concept to completion including permanent and temporary galleries and site-wide facility interiors. Design work includes conceptual presentations, generating scale plans and elevations, color schemes, image acquisition and graphic treatments for print. Production management responsibilities include budget generation and adherence, fabrication schedules, sub-contract direction, site prep, installation, a/v and lighting. Develop and manage annual Induction Ceremony recognition programs, including displays, artifacts and contracting annual class painting. Have produced exhibitions featuring such Members as Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus. Over 50 exhibitions installed in all, on time and on budget.

August, 2001 to September, 2005, served as Director of Exhibits & Collections and also assumed duties of managing Museum archives, Member donations, loans and acquisition of all artifacts.

April, 1998 to November, 2000, served as Curator & Creative Director.

 

December, 2000 – August, 2001

President & Founder, Golf Xi, Inc., Jacksonville, FL

Project management contractor offering services in exhibit conceptual planning, content coordination, budgeting & scheduling, resource assignment and production assistance. Design services include original artwork for print, corporate & project identities and ancillary advertising. Clients included: The PGA TOUR, The First Tee, Murray Bros. Caddyshack, Golf 20/20, Tour Turf & Sunbelt Solutions.

 

November, 1996 – January, 1998    

Exhibit Coordinator, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Cape Canaveral, FL

Provided Art Direction & Contract Coordination services for two multi-million dollar exhibit projects:  Launch Complex 39 Observation Gantry, an observation tower overlooking the Space Shuttle pads; and the International Space Station Center, an attraction housing NASA’s future space program. Developed RFP’s, budgets, negotiated contracts, managed fabrication subcontractors and incorporated sponsor product and services. Operated by Delaware North Parks Services.

 

March, 1990 – October, 1996

Director of Exhibits, Museum of Science and History, Jacksonville, FL

Managed Exhibit Department and out-of-house contractors. Developed and maintained immediate and long-term exhibition schedules. Project development roles included: initial concept presentations, design and layout direction, research coordination, production contracts, adherence to schedules and budget management. Exhibit Designer from March to December, 1990.

Over 40 exhibitions installed in six years.
